PurePLATE MCS is the only product specifically designed, precision-engineered, and proven to perform the deep cleaning required to prepare a microplate for reuse. Cleans any ANSI standard, solid body microplate 44 mm or thinner.
The technology used by the MCS allows for the extended reuse of microplates, some hundreds of times. It is an ideal component to closed-loop automation and for demanding applications requiring undetectable carryover.
The PurePLATE MCS consists of three main components: the Rinse Module, Plasma Module, and Communications Module.
The Rinse Module is the first step in the cleaning process;it receives a dirty microplate, dispenses a microliter amount of high concentration of alcohol into each well, spins it out, rinses the plate high-pressure alcohol/water mixture, then centrifuges the plate dry.
The Plasma Module receives recently rinsed and dried microplates, which it then generates and blows ionized air(plasma) onto to break apart and evaporate organic molecules.
Finally, the Communication Module acts as an operator’s interface and allows robotic automation through the integrated API.
