Description
Multiplex rRNA depletion with our bulk reagents
CRISPRclean Bulk Ribodepletion Reagents remove overabundant human, mouse, or rat rRNA from RNA-Seq libraries to improve sequencing sensitivity and performance. This protocol was designed for high-throughput screening applications by moving the depletion step post-library prep and enabling depletion on multiplexed pools of up to 96 libraries.
Discover relevant transcripts for human, mouse, or rat
RNA samples frequently contain up to >90% ribosomal RNA. Transcriptome sequencing without removing these noisy rRNA sequences reduces sequencing capacity making it harder to detect lower expressing, biologically relevant transcripts.
Upon request, Jumpcode can design species-specific rRNA depletion guides for customers interested in studying other species.
Highlights
- Use for DRUG-Seq and high-throughput transcriptome profiling screening applications
- Deplete up to 96 RNA-Seq libraries in a single pool
- Deplete >99% of rRNA per sample
- Automation-friendly protocol
