The BioQule™ NGS System provides a simplified, robust walk-away solution for NGS library preparation. This system consists of a NGS preparation and quantitation instrument, cassette, and a reagent plate to generate NGS libraries. The BioQule NGS System uses an intuitive interface, automated thermal cycling, an on-board magnet, and integrated quality control through optical quantification to produce reliable NGS libraries from as little as 10 ng of starting material. The BioQule NGS System is the ideal for a lab of any size performing NGS library preparation and can easily be used by novice users to automation or NGS sample preparation.

The BioQule™ NGS System features:
The BioQule™ NGS System has been specifically designed so no automation experience is required to generate NGS libraries. Simply pipette your samples, IPA, beads, and two enzymes into the plate, place the cartridge and plate in the instrument, close the door and walk-away.
This solution creates 8 NGS libraries from as little as 10 ng of starting material per run while saving 4.5 hours, on average, of hands-on time during library preparation.
The BioQule™ NGS System has been designed so no automation experience is required to prepare NGS libraries. Simply prepare your plate, place the cartridge and plate into the instrument, close the door and start the instrument.

Library Preparation & Quality Control in the Same System
The BioQule™ NGS System is equipped with automated fluorescence-based optical quantitation to measure the concentration of each library. You will no longer need to move your samples from one instrument to another to perform concentration analysis on your libraries.

The BioQule™ NGS System is now open
The BioQule™ NGS System is open to automate your low-throughput library prep workflows. In addition to automating Revvity’s NEXTFLEX library prep kits, the BioQule now has automation protocols and instruction guides written for the Illumina® DNA Prep kit, with Tagmentation and the Roche® KAPA® HyperPrep™ kit.
Automating Low Throughput Illumina® DNA Prep kit, with Tagmentation workflow
The Illumina® DNA Prep kit, with Tagmentation is now automated on the BioQule™ NGS System to simplify and minimize human error in low-throughput WGS applications. Sequencing metrics for Illumina® DNA Prep kit WGS libraries can be seen in Figures 1 and 2. An average of 1 million reads were generated per sample (0.2x coverage). Libraries produced were a consistent size and showed minimal variability in normalized coverage across 20-60% GC. Download our application note to learn more.

Automating low throughput Roche® KAPA® HyperPrep™ workflows
Roche® KAPA® HyperPrep™ Libraries constructed using the BioQule™ NGS System show a consistent size and minimal variability in normalized coverage across 20-60% GC. Sequencing metrics for these WGS libraries can be seen in Figures 1-2. Download our application note to learn more.

BioQule library prep success rate.
With a > 99% success rate*, the BioQule™ NGS delivers robust performance by minimizing error introduced by human error. Revvity defines A success was library success as:
- a library with the expected mean size
- with less than 3% adapter dimers
- and library yield in excess to make a sequencing run
Expected library size distribution was confirmed for all libraries with the LabChip® GX Touch™ Nucleic Acid Analyzer.
* The success rate of libraries constructed on the BioQule NGS system is based on mean internal data. 100 samples containing 20 ng of gDNA from E. coli were used as input for NEXTFLEX® Rapid DNA-Seq Kit 2.0 automated on the BioQule™ NGS System.

Each run of the BioQule™ NGS System uses one reagent plate and one cartridge. The reagent plate comes pre-plated with most reagents required for NGS library preparation. Once one run is complete, simply change out the reagent plate and cartridge and you can construct another 8 NGS libraries.
